PASADENA
– Sexual assault and drug charges were filed by the District
Attorney’s office today against two men accused of molesting three
high school girls in Pasadena this week.
One of the
defendants – 41-year-old Stephen Kyle Mack (dob 6-21-1967) – is in
custody and is scheduled to appear for arraignment this afternoon in
Department N of Pasadena Superior Court. The other defendant –
42-year-old Brian Lee Hudson (11-20-1966) – remains at large.
Case No. GA
076051 charges Mack, of Pasadena, with one count of rape of an
unconscious person. He also is charged with three counts of contact
with a minor for a sexual offense and three counts of furnishing
marijuana to a 14-year-old. All the charges are felonies.
Hudson is
charged with three counts of contact with a minor for a sexual
offense, three counts of furnishing marijuana to a 14-year-old, one
count of rape by use of drugs or alcohol, one count of oral
copulation by drugs or an intoxicant, two counts of digital
penetration of a drugged or intoxicated person, and one count of
lewd act on a minor. The complaint also alleged prior convictions
for robbery in 1992 and burglary in 1996.
Bail for
Mack was recommended at $435,000. Hudson’s bail was recommended at
$1.835 million.
Authorities
said the victims left school on Monday and went to Paseo Colorado,
the downtown outdoor mall, where they met the defendants. The sexual
assaults occurred after the victims left the mall with the men and
went to an abandoned house in the area, authorities said.
A neighbor
summoned police about 2:30 p.m. after one of the girls began
screaming.
