February 6, 2013: Postal Worker Charged with Misdemeanor Cruelty to a Child

A postal worker who allegedly chased an 11-year-old girl into a park restroom and choked her after she laughed at him was charged today with cruelty to a child and assault on park property, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

February 5, 2013: D.A. Asks Court to Order Chris Brown to Complete His Community Labor Sentence in Los Angeles County

District Attorney Jackie Lacey said today that entertainer Chris Brown failed to provide “credible, competent or verifiable evidence” that he completed his court-ordered community labor. She asked the court to order Brown to fulfill his obligation in Los Angeles County.

A 27-year-old Malibu man accused of shooting and wounding his neighbor during a dispute was arraigned today on attempted murder and assault charges, the District Attorney’s office announced.
