District Attorney Jackie Lacey announced that Robert Rizzo, Bell’s former city manager, pleaded no contest today to all 69 counts and is expected to be sentenced to the longest prison term for public corruption in the Public Integrity Division’s history.

A former Arcadia Police Department officer pleaded not guilty today to one count of grand theft by embezzlement for allegedly charging more than $50,000 for personal items, including making a down payment on a motorcycle, on a police association’s credit card, the District Attorney’s Office announced.
