December 18, 2012: Suspected Stalker Charged

A 20-year-old Sylmar man dubbed the ``Ear Gauge Stalker'' was charged today with kidnapping and other counts and was awaiting arraignment, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

Kevion Roy Hunt (dob 5-24-92) is scheduled to be arraigned after 1:30 p.m. at San Fernando Superior Court, Department S. He is charged in case PA075469 with seven felony counts, including assault with intent to commit a felony, attempted forcible rape, sexual battery by restraint, kidnapping to commit another crime and kidnapping, said Deputy District Attorney Carolyn McNary.

The complaint alleges Hunt assaulted two women on Dec. 9. Police said Hunt allegedly assaulted one woman who was pushing a baby stroller shortly before 3 a.m. He allegedly assaulted the second female about an hour later as she was walking to her Sylmar apartment.

Hunt surrendered to police on Friday. Prosecutors will ask his bail be set at $1.4 million.

If convicted, he faces up to life in state prison.
