July 9, 2018: MEDIA ADVISORY: Man to Be Arraigned on Murder of Long Beach Fire Captain

A man is expected to be arraigned today on charges that he murdered a Long Beach fire captain and wounded two others at a senior housing complex last month.

Thomas Man Kim, 77, is expected to make his initial court appearance this morning in Department S01 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Long Beach Branch.

Kim was charged in case NA109565 with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder of a firefighter, two counts of attempted murder and one count each of arson of an inhabited structure and explosion with intent to murder.
