A 52-year-old man was convicted today of fatally stabbing his roommate at a Long Beach apartment last September, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

Jurors deliberated for more than a day before finding William Earl Wilson guilty of one count of voluntary manslaughter. He faces 12 years in state prison. Sentencing will be set at a later date.
