Free parking is available on site. Parking spaces also are available at the neighboring church if needed.

This course provides law enforcement personnel with basic skill sets needed to identify and interpret criminal conduct on the internet.  Expert speakers will teach investigators about basic internet functionality; techniques criminals use on smart phones, computers, apps and social media accounts to commit and facilitate crimes; how to identify, seize and interpret digital evidence; and an overview of the California Electronic Privacy Act.  The instructors will perform live demonstrations and provide hands-on experience using internet tools.

Attendees are required to bring laptops.  Wi-Fi internet access will be provided. 

There is no cost to attend.

This program is open exclusively to prosecutors and law enforcement personnel. Badge identification will be required for admittance.

MCLE credits will be offered through the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

POST credits will be offered through the California State Fusion Center Network.
