Cyber Crime Symposium

This daylong program will provide the tools needed to identify, investigate and prosecute cyber criminals. The curriculum is divided into three tracks:  basic investigations, advanced investigations and legal.

The basics of cyber investigation will include sessions on investigating child exploitation and business email compromise. The advanced track will focus on cutting-edge investigations, forensics and search warrants under the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act. The track for prosecutors will explore digital evidence, synthetic ID cases and the evolution of the Fourth Amendment in a cyber world.

This program is open exclusively to prosecutors and law enforcement personnel. Badge identification will be required for admittance.
